I first found meaningful work when I built my first website, back in 2011. Since then, I have built everything, from multiplayer strategy games to stock market analysis algorithms.
My first foray into freelancing happened only a month after I started learning web development. It was an intense time, marked by a pattern of rapid improvement: take a small project, learn on the job, complete it, get a good review, move on.
As time passed, I got better at my job, and I got a lot better at picking projects and talking to clients.
Near the end of 2019, as I looked back at some of those times, I decided it was time to share some that accumulated knowledge - I started my blog on Medium, which has since grown tremendously. Near the end of 2020, I was listed as a top writer on the topic of productivity.
In mid-2020, I started constructing a Udemy course about succeeding on Upwork, with the goal of compressing nine years of experience into two hours of video. I invite you to judge the outcome yourself.
