I first found meaningful work when I built my first website, back in 2011. Since then, I have built everything, from multiplayer strategy games to stock market analysis algorithms.
My first foray into freelancing happened only a month after I started learning web development. It was an intense time, marked by a pattern of rapid improvement: take a small project, learn on the job, complete it, collect a testimonial, move on.
As time passed, I got better at my job, and I got a lot better at picking projects and talking to clients.
Near the end of 2019, as I looked back at some of those times, I decided it was time to share everything I learned.
First I started my blog and began to write regularly. In 2020, I recorded a course about succeeding on Upwork, with the goal of compressing nine years of experience into two hours of video.
In 2021, I published my first book: The Unstoppable Freelancer.
In 2023, I started a free newsletter to help freelancers find better clients, earn more money, and build sustainable careers. Subscribe below!
